Alex started in the cleaning industry in 1997, working as Cleaning Operative for a respected name within the industry.
His commitment to achieving high standards led to promotion to Supervisor within a large commodities brokerage. That same brokerage is now one of Optimus' own longstanding clients.
After three years as Cleaning Supervisor, Alex was promoted again to Area Manager, managing in excess of 40 contracts, both large and small.
In May 2006, with an idea and small, but keen workforce, Alex founded Optimus Cleaning Services.
He is particularly proud of the fact that Optimus quickly established itself with major city clients who all remain clients to this day.
His aim remains the same as it was then, to provide a personalized, comprehensive and innovative service that is both completely reliable and cost-effective.
As a Facilities Manager for a City of London law firm for over 15 years, Mark knows only too well what a client expects from a professional cleaning company.
